The Aralis story – going back more than 50 years
Stepping in to face emergencies and challenges since 1951
ARALIS’ own history is closely linked to the history of immigrant populations in France. It was set up in response to emergency situations with the aim of reducing the number of shanty towns and helping to house workers arriving from North Africa. Then there were other migratory movements to cope with, each of them reflecting the changing face of immigration into France, a country to which many refugees look for asylum. Today it also provides answers to the problems faced by isolated families and people. It is also open to other applicants who, at some time in their lives, find themselves going through a difficult period. It aims to offer all of them help in integrating and adapting to social changes.
