The table d’hôtes scheme
In order to meet the needs of residents who have trouble preparing meals or who would like an opportunity to meet other people, there is a table d’hôtes at lunchtime every day during the week. The meals are prepared on-site by a hostess-cook. The cost of the meals takes the people’s financial means into account.
This friendly space also helps to combat the sense of isolation felt by residents and to restore the links between people.
The project centre
The project centre, located in the Pionchon residence, is the Lyons-based resource centre for all Aralis residents. The information is structured based around the 4 main areas of housing, health, access to rights, and work and training.
Each centre offers information and addresses.
Self-service multimedia space.
Every afternoon the centre caters to people's individual requirements, along with a certain number of community initiatives, such as health info evenings, storytelling evenings, literacy workshops, etc.
